WTIU- Indiana University is a nonprofit student campus based radio and television station whereas my experiences working within the nonprofit sector includes media broadcast venues.   I worked as a volunteer, intern and paid crew member for a number of years in addition to my academic tenure with Indiana University.  WTIU sponsors a fund drive and supports many local talents in the Bloomington, Indiana area and of course all sports personalities and events. The primary fundraising utilized at the time was a mini telethon or phone-a-thon for the student station to maintain it’s support and relationships with patron donors who actively have a supportive role in station operations and broadcast.  In addition to working for WTIU- Indiana University, my media producing and social media experiences progressed working as a copywriter and contract fundraising, additions undergraduate training within media production, audio and visual broadcast marketing.  I have designed and wrote a blog radio program as a marketing strategy that introduced blog radio as a nonprofit entity’s fundraising strategy to employ blog radio as a broadcast medium, exploiting blog radio’s advantage in a large media sector.  The blog radio pilot program was designed as a fundraising program and action plan for a local nonprofit entity wanting to reach a large audience or the maximum number of persons efficiently.  I am attaching my resume and credentials to this cover letter and perceive that you will find an interest towards employability within your company.
